New boards and rotted joists replaced on a second-story deck

Charlotte, NC, September 2026

The painted boards on this 16-year-old second-story deck were worn and splitting. They came off, we replaced several rotted joists underneath, and all new pressure-treated boards went on. The railing stayed.

★★★★★

Top notch crew that I used to replace all deck boards and several rotted joists on a 16 year old second story deck. Quality workmanship done in a timely manner at a fair price. Excellent communication on status and always shows up exactly when they said they would. Highly recommended.

Rotten stair landing rebuilt

Fort Mill, SC, July 2026

The boards on the stair landing were rotten underneath. We opened it up and replaced the failed boards on the landing and the top step.

A small job, too

★★★★★

Had a rotting sideboard on my deck. I had gotten some crazy high estimates from some other companies. CDR came in with a reasonable estimate & I went with them. Their work used quality materials & they matched the existing boards perfectly... polite, professional, on time. Other reviews I saw indicated they were good at big jobs... I can attest that they are great at small jobs as well.
